This hotel is amazing! Its location directly on Matemwe beach is stunning, providing incredible sea views from the rooms on the ground floor. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious!
All was perfect, couldn't find any faults!

Very quiet hotel directly on the beach, very nice staff. Due to the size rather familiar atmosphere. Room Don Baker is pleasantly large and has a large balcony with a wonderful view of the sea. Nearby island Mnemba is worth a day trip for snorkeling or diving.
Poor signposting along the road, therefore difficult to find. Swimming on the beach is difficult due to the tides.

We had an amazing time at Zawadi Beach Villas! The staff were friendly and always available to help. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view. The beach was stunning, and we loved the boat trip to another beach. Despite a few minor issues with breakfast and wifi, our overall experience was fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel.

Just about everything. Top Guesthouse...
No alcohol except beer. A bottle of wine in the evening wouldn't be bad.

Very nice hotel with great location directly on the beach. Pool is super arranged. Because of the bank very nice staff and everything very "familiar", because the hotel has only 6 rooms. At the restaurant right at the beach one can comfortably end the evening, we found the food ok (but it did not taste equally good every evening). We'd come back anytime!
There is no alcohol except beer. (Probably because Zanzibar is strictly Muslim).

I had an incredible stay at this hotel. the location was absolutely perfect. Situated directly at the beach, it offered breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere in a very quiet area. Secondly, the staff were extremely friendly and attentive, making sure that my needs were met throughout my stay. Lastly, the rooms were spacious and well-maintained, with a nice private veranda or balcony that provided a great view of the sea. Additionally, the breakfast served was delicious and satisfying. this hotel provided great value for money and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing holiday.
All aspects of my stay were absolutely perfect.

The property offered a pristine environment, and the beach was serene and clean. Breakfast was considered delicious and nourishing. Staff was frequently found as helpful and engaging.
The bed was harder than expected, resulting in an unsatisfactory sleep. The hotel was located in an isolated and hard-to-find location.

This hotel is a hidden gem located directly on the peaceful Matemwe beach. The basic amenities are included but the rooms with a balcony offer incredible views of the ocean. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is great.
All was well, couldn't ask for more.

This stay was a real treat! the friendly staff really made the experience. They were always happy to help and even recommended some great local spots. the hotel's location is perfect, right by a charming fishing village and quiet enough to relax and unwind. We also loved that they support the local community by partnering with local businesses. A real bonus was the delicious breakfast buffet with fresh fruit and pastries.
The coffee wasn't the best.

We loved the spectacular beachfront location of this hotel. the view of the sea was just amazing and the sound of the waves was so calming. the staff was very friendly and hospitable, always ready to help us with anything we needed during our stay. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast served every morning with fresh fruits and local dishes. the room was very clean, spacious, and nicely decorated with comfortable beds and a suitable bathroom. We enjoyed the pool, which was clean and well-maintained.
The Wi-Fi signal was a bit weak in some parts of the hotel, but it did not affect our wonderful experience there.
